Green Infrastructure and Low Impact Development (May 13)

The Colorado Stormwater Center offers a one-day workshop on Green Infrastructure and Low Impact Development. This workshop provides in-depth training on green infrastructure and low impact development principles and their application in stormwater management.

Workshop Format:

7 hours of classroom-style presentations and discussions

Optional written exam

Certification: Participants who successfully complete the written exam will receive a certification from Colorado State University.

Please note: The Center reserves the right to cancel the course at least 7 days prior to the event if the minimum participant number is not met.

The Center requires a 7 day notice for individual cancellations. Individuals will not receive a refund if notice is given with less than 7 days.

SCM Design & Review Certification Course (July 8-9)

The Colorado Stormwater Center offers a two-day workshop on Stormwater Control Measures Design and Review. This course provides and in-depth training on how stormwater control measures are designed and critically reviewed.

Workshop Format:

2 days classroom-style presentations and discussions

Optional 2 hour written exam

Certification: Participants who successfully complete the written exam will receive a certification from Colorado State University.

Please note: The Center reserves the right to cancel the course at least 7 days prior to the event if the minimum participant number is not met.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be made in writing and received by the Center no later than seven (7) days before the date of the training in order to receive a refund (less a $30 cancellation fee).  No refunds will be issued after this date.

SCM Inspection and Maintenance Certification Course (September 9-10)

The Colorado Stormwater Center provides a certification course on inspection and maintenance of stormwater control measures.. In this 1.5 day training workshop, we teach participants how to recognize SCM maintenance needs and how to perform maintenance correctly. The workshop includes 8 hours of presentations/discussion in a classroom setting, a 2-hour field trip and a 2-hour written exam (optional). Participants that successfully pass the written exam receive certification from Colorado State University Extension and are recognized on our website. **The Center reserves the right to cancel the course no fewer than 7 days in advance if the minimum number of workshop participants has not been reached
