KICP - Stormwater Control Measures Design and Review Training - November 17th & 18th

^{Location: Boulder County Recycling Center, 1901 63rd St, Boulder, CO 80301}

^{Dates: November 17th & 18th, 2026}

^{Time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Both Days)}

^{This in-person training provides the technical expertise to confidently design and review permanent Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs). The curriculum is built on the authoritative Mile High Flood District Urban Storm Drainage Criteria Manual (USDCM) Volume 3 and the Base Design Standards required by Colorado’s MS4 permits.}

^{You will learn to apply core engineering principles, from maximizing Runoff Reduction to calculating the Water Quality Capture Volume (WQCV), and covering all three Base Design Standards and their exemptions. A unique highlight is the practical, hands-on instruction with the region’s specialized tools, including the SCM Design and MHFD-Detention workbooks.}

^{The course also provides advanced instruction on integrating water quality with flood control using concepts like the Excess Urban Runoff Volume (EURV) and Full Spectrum Detention (FSD).}
